This spread is meant to be read in layers. Start in sections, then step back and take it in as a whole

Cards 1–4: The Kindling

This is your foundation, the base of your fire.  These are the abilities and blockers you come to this moment with. Cards 1 & 2 are where you start and what you have to work with. These materials you’ve gathered, consciously or not, are what is fueling your passion.

These cards speak to the strengths, skills, and inner resources you’re bringing into this moment, along with anything (crossing cards 3&4) that might be dampening the spark. Old patterns, doubts, or habits that slow the burn show up here too.

Cards 5–8: The Igniters

This is where the fire catches. Passions, energy, support;  this is the energy and power that is sustaining and pushing forward your purpose. Can also be what is causing too much heat!

These cards represent the energy actively feeding your path. This section can reveal both inspiration and overwhelm. Too little fire and nothing happens. Too much, and things start to burn out of control. This is the heat that shapes what comes next.

Card 9: The Outcome

This is the natural result of everything in motion. It reflects the work you have done in the past, the power you bring in the present, and the outside influences that shaped your path. If nothing shifts, this is the direction your path is heading. The trajectory you are on is based on actions, rather than Fate.

Card 10: The Significator

This is you in the center of it all; in pure form. Cleansed and blessed and ready to rise from the flames. Not who you were. Not who you’re trying to be. Who you are when everything unnecessary burns away. This card holds your core truth in this moment. The version of you that is ready to rise, create, and claim what comes next. Create and give birth to the self you have chosen

Reading the Whole Spread

Once you’ve read each section, step back.

Look at the spread as a single image.Notice repeating symbols, elements, colors, and how the energy moves across the cards. Read it as one living system, the whole vision, all symbols and interpretations woven together to tell a complete story

Each position is rooted in a specific tree energy. If you work with plant allies, you can layer these in for deeper insight or ritual work.
